Better. Good flavour, and delivers on the promised peanut butter but a little bit thin on mouthfeel. Still, as it is only brewed to 5.5%, that is probably a bit churlish.

The question of how much influence those interested parties actually have is an interesting question, of course. I suspect the answer is that they have more influence than they'd be willing ...

Re: Beer

Seeking something to lift the mood, and deflect my attention from the state of my country, I opened the fridge and pulled out a beer I have overlooked for a couple of months.

It is a pleasant enough, clean and fresh example of a gose beer but a bit unremarkable. Oh well.

Certainly three people seem to have read some quite complicated stuff into what was a very simple howl of rage about someone who the voters of the UK decide...

Re: UK politics

I guess that Jeremy Corbyn might as well cut loose now, and give free rein to his true nature by firebombing Margaret Hodge's house.

Re: UK politics

It's just emphasising how we got the results on the 2 referenda wrong. Preferential voting would have eliminated all this tactical nonsense. (I read once that it had never changed a result in Australia, but then I don't think Australia has had a single issue quite like Brexit) There was this https:...

Re: UK politics

The problem with any such considerations is that, once you have cast your vote, you lose any control over it. Any nuance that you put on your decision disappears and others interpret it as they will.

If I recall correctly, your employer is actually the owner of the bike. Do Tredz really want to go up against them?

Re: UK politics

I do not for one second believe that the Tory party truly care about anti-Semitism whatsoever. If they did, they would address it in their own ranks. In weaponising the subject, they are callously using Jewish people for unconnected ends, thus becomming the ones engaging in anti-Semitic behaviour.
