Re: Buying an ex-rental car
Sorry, after asking for advice I should have updated you with the outcome. I emailed the manager at the dealer's and said that I was concerned about the purchase and that if I'd known it was an ex-rental car it would have affected our decision to buy. I assume that he knew he was potentially in trou...

Re: Covid-19 Pandemic Thread
My employer (local council) does not intend to change the current arrangements - work from home unless it is genuinely not possible- until there's a sign of some resolution to the pandemic. We are able to send Social Workers out on visits if we've tried all other options to complete the required tas...

Buying an ex-rental car
I'd be interested in your views on this. We bought a 2017 Hyundai i30 a month ago from a dealer. We were told it had one owner. The first service wasn't in the book so I've been chasing it. That's what I thought.Sonic Budgie wrote: ↑3 years agoYeah, I found it all a bit underwhelming. Started off thinking it was going to be a cracker then went a bit meh in my opinion. I would imagine I'll watch the second series, but it's not high up my list to be honest.

Re: TV/Streaming shows
Ah right, nearly through it then. Please understand that my endorsement will mean that you will of course absolutely hate the second series, I apologise in advance for that. The second season was excellent. Different and more developed. Not sure how they could resolve things into a 3rd season thoug...

Re: Twitter watch
I don't know whether people are following this, but pimlico plumbers have posted a clip of a cyclist apparently kicking the door mirror of the boss.
Lots of comments about it being a set-up.

Re: TV/Streaming shows
First. Hadn't heard of it until last week. Assuming that season two is one of those compromises aimed at dragging out the income.

We've been watching The Umbrella Academy. It started off slow but soon warms up.
