That was my Dad's favourite joke, well his favourite non racist one anyway.

An article in the local paper about people being shocked to witness a seagull swallowing an already-dead pigeon whole - one witness is quoted as saying they "couldn't understand why the seagull would do this". Presumably because seagulls in Brighton must all be vegans.

I assumed that the seagull did it because his mates bet him that he couldn't.
