Another topic for media that I consume.
I've been meaning to discuss podcasts (my constant companion while cycling) for a while, but one I heard today finally prompted me to start a thread.

Not really a podcast (despite BBC adverts) but available occasionally on BBC Sounds - Natalie Haynes stands up for the Classics.
A classicist turned stand-up turned writer presents half-hour lectures on writers from the Greek and Roman worlds, often with a feminist slant. Moving and funny and academically interesting. Series 5 is currently available (
https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b077x8 ... des/player) including a lovely episode on Claudia Severa and other British Roman women, and a virtuoso half-hour summary of the Iliad. It's a work that I've always struggled with, but she makes it live. And, to my surprise, it passes the Bechdel test.
