A spontaneous socially-distanced queue to take selfies on the summit cairn of Pen-y-Fan.

We did not feel the need to take selfies.

But it was beautiful up there today.

I had a few days down with the Coven this weekend. Despite her health scare, Mum is in fine fettle. First time of seeing them since the New Year.

I'm walking around a Whole Foods in a face mask, looking at chia seeds. Once In A Lifetime is playing on the PA.

My god, what have I done?

Honestly, if this was written in Russian it could not make less sense to me!

It was, and excepting a small pile of desultory croutons under the yoghurt, it was even low carb!

Went to see my dad yesterday as it was his 81st birthday, he has gained weight and is looking very well.

My Dad (78) has at last decided it's time to retire from his (unpaid, sometimes just about full-time) cathedral job. I don't suppose he'll retire from the other things he does.

I (50 as of a few days ago) am also looking at how best to move away from full-time work.

Well, in a sort-of not-really symmetry, I, who successfully moved away from full-time work last year, have, somewhat against my better judgement, just agreed to become Churchwarden. :-[
