Six more sign ups today! Everyone is being so generous.

I really hope it's overkill, but even in worst case scenarios, we shall have some able bodied helpers.
I managed to collect prescriptions and post letters for a neighbour last week, but now we're self-isolating too.

Oh dear! Are you protecting yourselves, or do you fear you may have had contact?

Either way, I hope you have a similar helper when you need it.

Stay well.

Thanks.

My daughter has a persistent cough. Ordinarily, I wouldn't even keep her off school, but we can't take the risk.

There's a pretty good community spirit round here so I think people will help out with food shopping.

I reckon that instead of heading for Cornwall or the Highlands, everyone should pack up and move to Ambridge, where no one has even heard of coronavirus. :-)

Impressed by the targeted advert, but is delivery of rowing machines an essential service?

Does a 60 mile bike ride meet the conditions?

Nearly my exact thought.

Also does a walk/run count as one or two exercises; I am on an ad hoc couch to 5k.

I have a spare unused and recently expired ventolin that I want give to my brother, who is having trouble extracting a new script from his doctor. I don't need it myself, as I have most of the other inhaler that I got at the same time, and I won't have any trouble getting another one as I haven't had a script for it in 3 years. I think I can call the 70km round trip a single exercise, or possibly any medical need.

As long as this tickle at the back of my throat proves to be psychosomatic, that is. 😱

"travel for essential work" is very different to "essential travel for work". Some clarity would be helpful.

That's a good point. We shouldn't go to Sky for that.

https://www.gov.uk/coronavirus is very clear

"Only go outside for food, health reasons or essential work"

PS my cycling either on a 20km loop, or a ventolin run is both inside the letter and the spirit of the law. I'm being cute, but I will keep social distancing while not letting my mental or physical health decline.

PPS is delivery of rowing machines "essential"? It may, I think.

Yet the guidance published this evening is "Travelling to and from work, but only where this absolutely cannot be done from home"
