I am going to a&e tomorrow morning, might take a flask and sandwiches, a reading book.
I did that once. I broke a metacarpal and went home to put my bike away and get a book before going to A&E.

To be honest I have lost track of what is going on, the briefings all appear to be ramblings.
This could be incompetence, or part of a plan

I was in Sainsburys this morning, the 1 person per trolley rule apparently no longer applies, nor does the 2m apart rule.

We watched some of One Man, Two Guvners. I don't know whether it doesn't translate to TV or is just rubbish, but it was rubbish.
You were probably expecting it to be as good as the car insurance adverts, and bound to be disappointed.

Very sad news on Twitter. Nigel was trending but it turned out to be Monty Don's old retriever that has died.

Re: Covid-19 Pandemic Thread

There is apparently a 50 page document due today, that is supposed to provide the more specific, detailed guidance. It would have been sensible to use a moment in yesterday's address to point people towards it.

Re: Covid-19 Pandemic Thread

As of yesterday evening, my view was slightly at odds with others. Expecting an absolute car crash, I was pleasantly surprised to hear something that I found reasonably intelligible. I was able to understand the core message that a normal person could have delivered in four minutes. This morning how...
