Re: In the news...

Are we heading towards a war? The economies tanking, the wealth divide will undoubtedly widen further. A 2nd pandemic wave now seems likely. Re: Covid-19 Pandemic Thread

Stolen from Visagelivre.... When the second coronavirus spike comes, which it will, your phone will tell you it was because people protested against citizens being tortured to death in the street in a free democracy like yours. They won’t mention the impact of reopening schools or McDonalds or sendi...

Did I also catch it was his wifes birthday when he drove 30 minutes to a beauty spot (to see if his eyes still wor...

Re: Covid-19 Pandemic Thread

Yes I understand all that, but I was thinking of the "wasteful of resources and polluting" aspects of F1 in particular. If there were a sport that involved private jet owners taking advantage of empty airspace to race against each other while people got enjoyment from watching film/tracking, would ...

Yesterday we were collared by some horsey woman in all the horsey gear messing about with horsey poles in her horsey garden......... so dead 'essential' right? The PUBLIC footpath on which we were walking was adjacent to her horsey bungalow. Horsey Lady: "...

Re: Covid-19 Pandemic Thread

I recently spent 8 consecutive days in ICU (not me, my mum) and can confirm that the staff there were absolute angels, all of them.
