We're going to persist, but haven't moved past episode 1 yet. They've tried to build too many characters too quickly.
I’ve made it to episode 2, Houston we have a problem😟

Re: 10 minutes into S1E1 of Space Force...

...and I want to slash my wrists. Should I persist? Lisa Kudrow appearing in the publicity but not making the opening credits should have been sufficient warning. Given the slating it’s gotten, it’s better than I expected. I’ve only watched one episode though and I have Kokomo stuck in my head. To ...

Re: Weddings in the time of coronavirus....

You're allowed to get married in Australia now. Looks a bit 😔 :-( A colleague I worked with recently had been planning her wedding for months and had to cancel it. My 10th wedding anniversary is in a few days so I'm having to plan something a bit low key for the two of us. That's kind of my prefere...

Re: Covid-19 Pandemic Thread

This whole thing is ballsy, it's mystifying. I stayed in lockdown because I might have covid. It was unlikely, but I might. He left lockdown because he definitely had it. He exposed a lot of people to it. He (claims that he) went to an optometrist when he should have been in quarantine, which is ex...

Let's not forget Gove on LBC starting to say that he'd driven to test his eyesight, then realising mid-sentence that he was lying. Worth a watch.
That’s what happens when you get used to lying, Sometimes, as the lie is half way out, You realise you can’t say it convincingly.

When you have lost the Bishop of Willesden, you have lost the nation. Re: TV/Streaming shows

I found it pretty weak. Even boy no.2, the font of all that is Star Wars, didn't think it was very good. Really? Thats the first negative I’ve heard. I haven’t liked pretty much anything of the new Star Wars, except rogue one, but i really enjoyed this. Still it would be boring if we all liked the ...

Re: TV/Streaming shows

Seen the whole lot. Not too bad. If you enjoy Star Wars, Ive found the making of mandolarian very interesting and enjoyable. Disney+ has been surprisingly good. I watched the prop show and thought the Tron episode would be boring, (how many physical props can there be?) but it was actually interest...

Crazy woman! She should have used a laser distance measurer

Im tempted lean a little towards the commentator who said I’ll file this under things that never happened. It sounds just a Little too bonkers.

Re: Meanwhile...

Since I'm stuck in, I've been busy indoors

Day 8 stranded on a desert island, discovered Tarantula island.

I may have been a little hasty jumping in. I didn't see the other(s), my celebration may have been premature.

@Whiskeyjack done. Salute to both you and @Sonic Budgie Thanks! Although I didn’t do much for praise really. I was in the ICU though which is going to be on the front lines. I have total respect for all the people I worked with there. They are worried but still carrying on doing their best. Every p...

Re: Covid-19 Pandemic Thread

You have to include a picture of a passport or license (or criminal check thingy, if you have one) and there is a process of verification that takes several days. I think they can make it pretty safe. We shall see 🤞 Oh that's what I mean, I wasn't criticizing it, As it is people are being well-mean...
