Re: TV/Streaming shows
Watched Bo Burnham: Inside on Netflix, I'm not sure I could describe what its about but I thought it was brilliant. It was filmed and written alone during lockdown, I may have to watch his other stuff now.

It’s great actually! A loss used to ruin the day, now it barely registers.

Re: TV/Streaming shows
I've not tried apple, anything else worth having on it? I really enjoyed For all mankind which is a what if the Russians got to the moon scenario. Another enjoyable one which resulted in the continuation of space exploration beyond what actually happened and, inadvertently, female astronauts much s...

Yeah I think we are almost at the stage we were with cable services. One positive is that we can cancel and restart these month to month and aren’t tied into a Contract.
Have you used up your Apple free trial yet?

It’s on Appletv which is probably why. The guardian hated it but I stand by my opinion, it’s the only one I have!

Re: TV/Streaming shows
Has anyone watched Ted Lasso yet? After hearing it was good, I gave it the shawshank redemption treatment, by never being in the mood to watch it. I’ve also gone off football recently which doesn’t help . I finally gave it a go. It’s lovely! strange word for it but it’s just a solid feel good show w...

...and I want to slash my wrists. Should I persist? Lisa Kudrow appearing in the publicity but not making the opening credits should have been sufficient warning. Given the slating it’s gotten, it’s better than I expected. I’ve only watched one episode though and I have Kokomo stuck in my head. To ...

Re: Weddings in the time of coronavirus....
You're allowed to get married in Australia now. Looks a bit 😔 :-( A colleague I worked with recently had been planning her wedding for months and had to cancel it. My 10th wedding anniversary is in a few days so I'm having to plan something a bit low key for the two of us. That's kind of my prefere...

Re: Covid-19 Pandemic Thread
This whole thing is ballsy, it's mystifying. I stayed in lockdown because I might have covid. It was unlikely, but I might. He left lockdown because he definitely had it. He exposed a lot of people to it. He (claims that he) went to an optometrist when he should have been in quarantine, which is ex...

When you have lost the Bishop of Willesden, you have lost the nation.
