Re: Your Ride Today

Please ignore the pace/average speed as I can't find the autopause function in Endomondo, and there were several long coffee breaks involve.

The maximum speed field is, conversely, completely reliable....

Re: Food stories

I've just come in from a ride. I am off to a neighbours in 1/2 hour, and they will ply me with food and drink. As I am watching my diet (and want to indulge without guilt this evening), I can't eat anything now, although I am ravenous.

This thread is not helping! 😤

Re: Derek Hatton

Antisemitism is a minefield. Legitimate criticism of Israel is silenced by the accusation; genuine antisemitism often wraps itself in a pro-Palestine/anit-Israeli cloak. That being said, and with no context except this quote from the JC Like many abusers, unable to reflect on their own abuse, and en...

I don’t think I’ll be applying for one: Apple Card can be damaged by wallets and jeans Yup, because that was always going to be the worst thing that could happen when big tech starts issuing credit. https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2019/nov/10/apple-card-issuer-investigated-after-claims-of-se...

Re: Food stories: what you have cooked or eaten (or will be cooking or eating)

In contrast, who is this for? If you have a big enough fridge for this large box, are you likely to want 24 pick and mix cheeses? And if you have a smaller fridge, taking the cheese out of the cardboard just ruins the whole thing - and if it was me, they'd all be snacked on before the 3rd December. ...

Re: Food stories: what you have cooked or eaten (or will be cooking or eating)

The mini oat biscuits are destined for a food bank....probably! They sat in my kitchen singing their siren song to me for a week - but I am watching my sat fat, I don't want to waste my daily allowance on this - so dropped them off the next time I went past a supermarket. But what I saw filled my h...

Re: Food stories: what you have cooked or eaten (or will be cooking or eating)

Never heard of that, is it worth looking into? +1 I spent a few minutes on their website earlier today, but I am not exactly sure what they offer. I was reminded of a Now Show audience question, something like this: What have you bought on impulse? a scale that posts your weight to the internet. An...

Re: Food stories: what you have cooked or eaten (or will be cooking or eating)

When I was invited to allotment bonfire (wow, that is a very British phrase), I was asked to bring ANZAC Biscuits, which I'd made before. I naturally searched The Australia Women's Weekly for a recipe , which I made on Saturday. They did what they always do, which is spread to cover the entire pan, ...

Is someone mooning the bonfire!!??!!
It looks like it.

But I don't remember noticing any naked butts. I am usually very observant of that sort of thing.
