Re: People’s Vote March 19 October- London

In answer to your first point and as testament to how hard she works, this thread from less than 12 hours ago took some finding... https://twitter.com/bbclaurak/status/1184832298094649344?s=20 And of course, she has 'sources' and has friends in high places (much to James O'Briens derision) , its he...

Is it just me or does Gove look as though he's off his tits on something again? He's so jittery at the beginning of the clip. Colombian Marching Powder perhaps?

Re: People’s Vote March 19 October- London

As is James O'Brien (LBC) which in my view is a bit of a witch hunt. I cant find the tweet now but she directly tweeted him in his contradiction to her assertion that Barnier said that no extension was available and yet he still continued to disparage her. Laura K fan boy personally. Kuenssberg twe...

Re: People’s Vote March 19 October- London

I'm going to be meeting up with some of the YACF ers at Pret at King's Cross Station at 10.30 am on Saturday. Does anyone want to meet up there? I was also going to suggest a secondary meet up place/time: 12.00 midday at the blue plaque for Sir Frederick Handley Page on Grovesnor Square. I know the ...

Re: TV/Streaming shows

I rather enjoyed the first episode of the remake of 'The Name of the Rose' on BBC2. Rupert Everett is good as the malevolent Bernard Gui, although I do find John Tururro a little strange as William of Baskerville. The eye candy is provided by Damian Hardung. Lucy Mangan didn't particularly rate it i...

Re: Meanwhile...

We’re back! Bar yesterday, the weather was OK. The downside of the week was my phone decided to die on me - so I spent the week without access to the outside world. And I now have to buy a new phone. Good news was that I found out Sainsbury’s do their own label orange gin - and very good it is too!
