Re: Very specific train question
I refer you to the picture a bit up this thread: https://cyclingrelated.uk/download/file.php?id=1388 32mm (her)/35mm (me) tyres, mudguards, and (although I hope not terribly relevant for a canal-based route) both low gears around 20" - your advice is always welcome but I think we've probably antici...

Re: Very specific train question
Hi Everyone, long time no see... I think I've found a glitch with the GWR online booking system: if you try to make your bike reservation before reserving your seat, it will tell you that there are no spaces available. I managed to secure a bike reservation on the same train by booking the seat firs...

Adapted from Sally Rooney's novel, it didn't seem altogether promising - a clichéd coming of age story featuring two attractive young people who shag a lot. But it's so much better than that: the story repeatedly plays with th...

Re: Printed cycling shorts
Force GB are the current Fridays supplier. I've just received a new jersey, and am really impressed with the fit and quality, which are a noticeable improvement on my old one. Downsides are cost (though it's made in the UK) and long lead time.

Re: Meanwhile...
From the photos it looked like he went in at the mouth of Bordeaux Quay at the top of the frame? Yes, it was much closer to Pero's bridge. There's talk of the statue and placards being displayed in the museum, which feels about right to me. Perhaps it could be displayed horizontally, in a tank of w...

Re: Covid-19 Pandemic Thread
I spent last night messaging my teams telling them to not come into the office today. This morning, I have contractors asking when they can start back on site.
Thanks Boris.
Thanks Boris.

Re: Small lobbying gains or self delusion?
Go on then, find some better evidence for whatever it is you are arguing for. What is it, exactly, you're arguing for, by the way? It's generally up to those making a claim to provide the evidence to support it. I am arguing that the evidence you provided was of the motherhood and apple pie kind, s...
