Re: Bollocks to Brexit

According to Femi Boris has just met with Hungary, the concern being that he's trying to persuade a member to object to the extension.

Re: Bollocks to Brexit

Surely Boris hasn't been lying when he's been telling Parliament, the media, the DUP, the ERG, his financial backers and the public that he won't ask for another extension? Surely not... Re: Bollocks to Brexit

I would be over the moon about this, but I don't think Boris is capable of now doing the right thing.

Re: Specialized Levo road legal?

He is talking complete and unmitigated bollocks. Under EU regulations, anything faster or more powerful than prescribed in EN15194 regulations needs to be type approved as a motor vehicle. There is no overarching EU legislation that permits the use of S-pedelecs across Europe - it is done on a memb...

Re: Specialized Levo road legal?

That's what I thought. He said (when I suggested the bike was illegal on the road); "No it isn’t, I bought it as an S-Pedelec in mainland Europe (EU Regulations still apply to the UK) to make sure it doesn’t need to comply with the daft 15.5mph UK (only) restriction. Using it on the UK public highwa...

Re: Specialized Levo road legal?

No. Prior to the 2015 regulations, the U.K. law actually had lower limits (e.g. maximum speed was 15mph). The 2015 Regulations came into force in April 2015 (albeit that there were grandfathering provisions) - the Specialised Levo wasn't introduced until July 2015. It simply would not have been giv...

Specialized Levo road legal?

The man says that he imported a Specialized Levo "before the regs came in" and that it's capable of 38mph and type approved for use on roads across Europe (not being classed as a motorcycle).

Is he correct?

Decent rear light that fits rack reflector bracket

I have a Tortec Velocity rear rack which has a mount on the back of it. I think it's a reflector mount -single central hole with another part hole beneath. https://www.sigmasports.com/item/Tortec/Velocity-Rear-Rack/3I2U?utm_source=google&utm_medium=base&co=GBR&cu=GBP&glCountry=GB&id=163402&gclid=Cjw...
