Weight loss, foot splint at night and stretching exercises in the morning. Reduced distances on walks for now.

I have now booked my Portuguese Camino. I'm flying (unfortunately no practical overland route is available) out to Porto on the 27 May. I've got some time free there before starting the Camino on 29 May. I should get to Santiago on 9 June and have a couple of days there before flying back on 11 June...

Finally managed to find a pharmacy with some 'flu vaccine... half an hour's drive away in Suffolk.

My appointment is booked for Friday morning, giving me a few days to get over any side effects before we board the ship next Thursday.

Are they not dishing them out in your hospital Reg? We got some supply and I was due to have it - only to get Covid and have to go into isolation (so no trip to the hospital). We're now waiting for fresh stock - hopefully some will be delivered later this week, in which case I may get the 'flu jab ...

My Covid booster jab is now booked for this Wednesday (3 November) - 29 days after my +ve test for Covid.

Still struggling to get a 'flu jab though.

Jon's gone back to work today (his isolation finished at midnight last night). First time at the hospital for three weeks...

Did you ever find out which vaccine you got for your booster?

( it wasn't Pfizer)

I didn’t get one. I was in the placebo group (and got the meningitis vaccine). I now need to get a booster but can’t have one for another three weeks.

I'm fine thanks. Still got a bit of a cough and the snuffles but I feel much better.

It’s the last day of my mandatory isolation for Covid…
