Re: Meanwhile...

I recall its bad luck to plant it as it takes over the garden.

First year of nursing training done and dusted. Just finished 5 weeks at a hospice which was rewarding and inspiring.

Have a few weeks now to put my feet up and relax, looking forward to doing nothing :D

Re: Bollocks to Brexit

Newsflash, working in Strasbourg involves, working in Strasbourg. If costing us money is his concern, He could save us money by moving closer to where he works.

Not a surprise that it’s a situation that he has control over, but wants to fix, by pulling us all out of the eu.

Re: The Good Place

I saw about 20 minutes of Good Omens on a train the other day. The woman sat next to me was watching it on her tablet but, as she was using headphones, I only got the visuals and no sound. I couldn't decide whether it was brilliant or rubbish. I thought it was ok but nothing to get excited about. T...

Re: Meanwhile...

I’m worried, I don’t mind this Rory bloke who is running for PM. He looks funny so I was all ready to mock him but he actually sounds sensible. I don’t even give a shit about the dirt his opponents dug up for the occasion. Am I getting old and becoming a curmudgeon?

Maybe the best we could do is take pre-election Cameron forward to the day after the Election, and show him how strong his victory was. Then take him to the day after the referendum.
He would probably be convinced he could change the future and do it anyway.

The total arse.

Re: Bollocks to Brexit

Leave.EU founder confirms he funded Nigel Farage in year after referendum https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-48315552 So he did not declare it because he was leaving politics. As he didnt leave politics, that’s a bit irrelevant isn’t it? Typical Farage forward planning, shit. he can’t even fores...

I thought so too but I must have been thinking of boo the Pomeranian who died at the start of the year. That was the total opposite of grumpy though.

Re: TV/Streaming shows

My two penny worth, don’t like it, he always comes across as nasty and aggressive, backed by a screaming crowd of bullies. Has been nice in work without his mug on all the TVs.

Up to the penultimate episode of game of thrones. Feck. At least it’s over soon, what a train wreck it’s become.

Re: Meanwhile...

Aww it’s just a bit of fun and an excuse for some star wars discounts. But them I would say that. Sad to hear about Peter Mayhew the day before, he seemed like a really nice guy.
