Inline skating......my friend Gaby from Zurich was world champion in 2000 and 2003. She's fearless on them......getting up to speeds of 50mph downhill. She can also skate backwards down a flight of steps. I've gone down a flight of steps backwards on a skateboard, well, when I say "on" a skateboard...

Re: Meanwhile...
Arse! I picked up two really nice Iberico pork chops at Leech & Sons today. I had planned to do them (in a honey and gin marinade) with Parmentier potatoes... ...except I’ve just thrown the half cooked Parmentier potatoes all over the kitchen floor. >:( So it’s back to Steamed Anya potatoes with lo...

Re: A balloon biking attempt
This is what I'm lusting after but Mr R would not be happy: https://trek.scene7.com/is/image/TrekBicycleProducts/1120_22005_A_Portrait?wid=1360&hei=1020&fmt=pjpeg&qlt=40,1&iccEmbed=0&cache=on,on Trek 1120. I'm not surprised, that rear seat looks hideously uncomfortable and the front carrier would b...

Re: Your Ride Today
Built a block wall on Sunday, woke up with the alarm on Monday and my back was in bits so decided I'd best not aggravate it on the bike. Up at 6 this morning to make sure I could get out and get a proper ride in before work and it's bloody foggy!! I'll ride in anything except fog, so I'm sat here in...

I went blackberry picking tonight with my wife, I like to think of it as practice for a no deal Brexit.
