My Dad (78) has at last decided it's time to retire from his (unpaid, sometimes just about full-time) cathedral job. I don't suppose he'll retire from the other things he does. Twitter trends. Every morning there's a new celebrity name and you have to guess between Dead, Massive Racist or Nonce. Occasionally for a breather it's something different, like Nigel Havers having a suitably posh drawing room on Zoom.

Both cut-and-dried cases of Driving Whilst Black. The police have that arsey defensive tone and aggressively circuitous logic about them in these situations because they actually believe that racial profiling is just fine and dandy and are really pissed off at having to pretend they don't do it.
