We're going to persist, but haven't moved past episode 1 yet. They've tried to build too many characters too quickly.
I’ve made it to episode 2, Houston we have a problem😟

Staged. Michael Sheen and David Tennant and friends playing versions of themselves meeting over VC. It's funny, each episode is short and born out of great affection between all the actors.

That, plus Jonathan Creek. Even the very early episodes have aged quite well.
When I Liked this this morning, we'd watched 3 eps of Staged and thought it very good. We watched Ep 4 this evening and almost wet ourselves laughing.

Ep6 is brilliant. It guest stars a National Treasure.

Anyone else been watching Samira Ahmed's 'Art of Persia' on BBC4? If you're into art, Persian/Islamic architecture, history or poetry it's well worth a watch.

I really want to visit Iran... once they get Covid under control.

We finally forced ourselves to get to the end of Killing Eve S3 on iplayer this evening. Has any other recent series lost its way so comprehensively so quickly?

I sat down to watch Gravity tonight, but I'm afraid I only managed 20 minutes. Very dull. I just didn't care what happened to them, unfortunately.

We've been watching The Umbrella Academy. It started off slow but soon warms up.

I saw it in the cinema when it came out, thought it was visually brilliant, but told my wife not to bother watching it on a small screen.

First. Hadn't heard of it until last week. Assuming that season two is one of those compromises aimed at dragging out the income.

I enjoyed the first, not sure where you are with it, but stick with it 'til the end. However, in my opinion the second is vastly superior.

That's good to know. We're on 7 or 8. Alison in the log cabin.

Ah right, nearly through it then.
Please understand that my endorsement will mean that you will of course absolutely hate the second series, I apologise in advance for that.
