I have a desperate need to be outside, but the weather says it's a staying in kind of day.

I’ve just walked round to the jumble sale at the village hall. I’m going to get my hair cut and then we’re heading up to Brandon country park.

The weather’s awful but, if you wear the right clothes, it’s fine. Get wrapped up and get out there! You’ll thank yourself later.

A productive day today. The chain on Vera replaced (it snapped a couple of weeks ago) and an oil change done on her Rohloff hub. A quick test ride showed all was ship-shape.

After a 10 mile walk this morning, I've spent the afternoon reading Waterlog by Roger Deakin. Can't wait till the Thames is warm enough for a swim.

I actually found a pair of shoes in size 5.5, thank you Decathalon. Only wanted a pair of black shoes to wear walking to and from work, nothing fancy, got what I wanted. ;D

Dinner’s goneinto the oven and I’m settling down with a G&T (Conkers) to watch ‘The Jackal’ (the remake of The Day of the Jackal).

The Bruce Willis version? I remember that being so bad it was like a parody.

Let me know how you enjoyed it.

You haven't really allowed him much room to say how great it was.

Good point. And I may not have seen the whole movie, maybe just a clip as I only remember one scene.

Compare and contrast, and see if you don't agree.
Don't want reg to see this
Show

Oh! That's Jack Black!

You are quite right, Bruce Willis can't pull off wearing a cravat.

I could have done with being outside for a long time, but recovering (I hope) from what feels like a knee strain has put the kibosh on that, even before taking the weather into account. I've been round the block on the Brompton, which was more comfortable than I feared, so I think I'm on the bike for at least 20 minutes tomorrow.

Slow healing injuries can send you stir crazy. Enjoy your ride tomorrow.

Meanwhile, on Twitter, Donald Trump is now turning on Fox News.

When the Dictator starts arguing with his own Propaganda department then you know it's all falling apart.

I googled for new on Donald Trump's twitter. I got him attacking the very recently deceased John McCain, and SNL.

A little deeper, and the anti-Fox tweets emerged.

He's like me, if I got a-bottle-and-a-half-of-prosecco drunk, and then posted my every thought.
