Give Prof a gentle hugette from me!
Mr R is full of man ‘flu.... I am taking sensible precautions and ensuring my bloodstream is well sterilised via gin and red wine.

Aching and quite sore. Fractured head of humerus and three broken ribs seem to be making her a bit grumpy although industrial strength cocodamol is helping. I’ve decided not to show her @Dunckel’s gin.
Thanks

Re: Meanwhile...
I tried to log into my British gas account a few days ago, it kept cycling endlessly through the login screens once I put my details in, something I've never seen before on any website. Then the BG online section went offline for three days. I knew something fishy was going on, many it seems had a similar experience.
As a matter of legacy, the password there was the same as an old e-mail account, and Amazon. I started getting notifications on the e-mail account this afternoon about a password and recovery address change, followed by hundreds of notifications of failed e-mail send attempts, all supposedly me inviting people to visit granny porn sites (nice?). Anyway, a quick change of password stopped that. Then when I got home I found another notification from Amazon India, followed by being unable to log into my Amazon account because the password had changed and my contact e-mail now had a .ru suffix.
Bugger. So Amazon was contacted and the account frozen, followed by a call to my Visa company to cancrl my card. The worst bit is that the Gin order has been cancelled whilst Amazon cleared up the mess.
British Gas is the only place I have typed in my e-mail and those password details for months. Also, BG have given no apology or even mention of the outage, which makes me think an investigation is underway. We will see.

I’ve changed my BG password to be on the safe side. That’s a bugger about the gin.....I think you are owed 2 bottles when it’s all cleared up.Dunckel wrote: ↑5 years agoI tried to log into my British gas account a few days ago, it kept cycling endlessly through the login screens once I put my details in, something I've never seen before on any website. Re: Meanwhile...
My gin has arrived. It must have been in transit before the acount was frozen. This makes me happy.
