I just heard a strangers phone ring ... the theme from the X-Files

Now my ringtone doesn't seem so hokey.

Over the years 1 colleague has had some good ring tones, 1 time it was the tardis, at the moment he has 'this is the voice of the mysterons-we know you can hear us earthmen' it makes me smile. The 1st time his phone rang my 39 year old boss could not figure out what it was She has never heard of Captain Scarlet.

The post has just arrived. It was a letter from work...


...I'm getting a bonus! It's only 2.5% (instead of a possible 25%) of my annual salary - but it's enough to possibly (if I can sneak it past Mr R) get the bike I've had my eye on.

I rather fancy an Orbea Katu (I'd get the Katu 20 in Bordeaux I think).

I'd have enough left over from purchasing it to take it for a little journey somewhere if I fancied...
