Some rather impressive rolls of thunder out there (which Jack really doesn't like).... the sky is looking ominous.

Lightning and hail now....

So much for nipping out for a quick pootle.

We set out to Durdle Door dressed for rain like what the BBC promised. Nope, clear blue skies all the way.

There was a Julia Bradbury at the cove too, full camera crew in tow.

It's been biblical weather around here most of the day. Need to nip out, shank's pony seems the best option as transport.

Still glorious here. Just resting up at the B&B before heading out for a posh seafood supper.

My healing abutment came loose but I've been to see my mate Nigel and he's tightened it up with his special torque-wrench.

In other news the waitress at the restaurant tonight had the thickest Dorsetshire accent I have ever heard, a lovely smooth Worzel, I could listen to her all night.

I get my new glasses today. Hopefully I’ll be able to see you lot again.
