I'll be taking 3 or 4 different gins. Jon's taking rum and whisky, along with several bottles of vermouth, triple sec etc. for cocktail making. There's also quite a lot wine in my car boot and we'll be stopping at the supermarket in Crewe to pick up some beer.

Years ago as an occasional peruser of a politics sub forum, I saw, from others posts, that a young gentleman was off on their holidays, on a boat.
Some wealthy friend will have offered the use of a super yacht off Cannes, sun, sea and jetskis included or maybe cruising along majestic Norwegian fjords, reclining on the deck sipping an akvavit, thought I.
Turns out it was getting pissed on a canal boat, ho hum.

We’re back!
Bar yesterday, the weather was OK. The downside of the week was my phone decided to die on me - so I spent the week without access to the outside world. And I now have to buy a new phone.
Good news was that I found out Sainsbury’s do their own label orange gin - and very good it is too!
