My ride up Box Hill this evening. I am aware that I have probably posted several rather similar pictures over the years...

[strava]https://www.strava.com/activities/3025498722[/strava]

A glorious day for a ride over to Wales and the Forest of Dean, though ice was a constant worry and we did see a cyclist being loaded into an ambulance.

No idea why the Strava link won't work.

Well done. Winter miles count double.

So do Welsh miles

(I can give you the nerd details to make the strava embed work, if you like)

I'm doing a running training programme which meant I was supposed to be out on two legs today. Instead, since I haven't been out on two wheels for a week or so...

Glorious afternoon sunshine here, beautiful colours and shadows, and everywhere so quiet - it feels almost sinful to be enjoying it so much.

Bollocks to that. It is almost a duty to enjoy everything that we can.

Sometimes cycling makes me happy, even joyous. Last night as I neared home, I gave an involuntary yelp of pleasure**

**yes, I'm a weirdo. You knew that.
