Cycling Related

I was at the newish Aldi in Hounslow, and found the bicycle parking to be somewhat .... eccentric ...
My guess is that their planning permission required 6 Sheffield stands (there are 3 more further along) but no other requirement. Luckily there were few cyclists to get in the way of angry motorists waiting for a parking place to come free.

They are similar to these, on the seafront locally. Too close together and much too close to the wall to be any use at all, as well as being hidden away in a corner that's not easily visible, and only bolted down. No one in their right minds would leave a bike there, especially when there are miles of chunky railings in full view along the prom.
