- it's a fuck of a long way
- any route hints? I have a nice wiggle to Notting Hill, and plan to go via the north end of Regent's Park. My paranoid brother suggested their might be military road blocks. Does anyone sea a fault in my plan?

Tomorrow I am cycling from Twickenham to Walthamstow and eventually back again.

On Weds evening I did Victoria to Marylebone at rush hour. It wasn't much quieter than usual, tbh.
For your route I'd keep it simple. Get to central London, follow the south side of Hyde Park then the blue paint around the embankment to the Tower before heading off into the uncharted north. That's also what Google suggests. The bit around the north of Regents Park and then Islington is more corrugated than I'd choose.

Thanks. That's helpful. More pleasant too.

I can testify that London was largely ignoring social distancing as of yesterday, and plenty of bars were still open late, even after boris had said "no!".
(I just followed my nose home. Ended up at the top of Regent's Park unplanned)
