Finally admitting defeat

Right at the start of Lockdown 1, i fitted a Brooks saddle to my bike. I figured that a whole summer of daily but shortish rides would be ideal to break it in before embarking on any longer rides.
Today I gave up, fitted an old gel saddle, and had the pleasantest Sunday coffee ride for some months.
Shame, because it was beautiful honey leather with copper rivets....
