Re: UK politics
Oh, well signing up for junk I just make something up. I can't help wondering if the people on the doorstep (if they existed) said they were representing something I might have been interested in being involved with (trs: lying).

Looking at the trade press, Nadine Dorries appointment as a Health minister isn’t being greeted with great jubilation.

Are you still in the health game, isn't Mr R? Did you have the bunting and balloons out around the house following the announcement?

I'm still in healthcare management and Mr R is still a consultant...Sonic Budgie wrote: ↑4 years agoAre you still in the health game, isn't Mr R? Did you have the bunting and balloons out around the house following the announcement?
...bunting and balloons have not featured much in the last few months (other than for Mr R's birthday a couple of weeks ago).

Re: UK politics
I see the attacks on Corbyn’s possible successor, Kier Starmer, have started in the right wing mainstream media. The Daily Heil et al are trying to suggest Starmer was responsible for Carl Beech.
Their paymasters must be really worried about the potential of a Labour Party led by
Starmer and I fully expect to see the sensationalist headline increase in number and frequency in the coming months.

If anyone is interested, there's a really good podcast from the HSJ that looks at, amongst other things, Labour's plans for the NHS. It can be found:

Re: UK politics
This says it all about U.K. politics currently...
This just one example of numerous attacks on Corbyn, by those claiming to represent the view of U.K. Jews, following the leaders debate.

Has anyone watched the Farage QT interview? It was lovely. Though he didn't answer many of the awkward questions he showed himself up (again) to be the patronising, uncaring, self-centred weasel that he is.

I've seen clip. Your character summary is exactly the reason why I think he should have been on the main debate.Mister Paul wrote: ↑4 years agoHas anyone watched the Farage QT interview?
