Hi folks
My Facebook account got hacked. So if you get an odd message from me with a video, please delete it - don't click on it.

That's a fairly successful phishing attack. I know quite a few people sending me messages about that video!
I'm not FB friends with any of you, I don't think. Which is fine; I am old school, I like my life partitioned. Also, if I post something on here that gets no love, I can try sharing it on FB without any of you thinking I am thirsty

Very successful, and surprisingly crude. Because I don't usually log in to FB Messenger I saw nothing odd in being asked to confirm my ID!
I have now changed a number of important passwords - just in case. It was noticeable that Zuckerberg's magic garden (a) was very clunky in the way it suggested I respond - I needed to reset my password several times as I logged in to different machines, and (b) didn't even think to mention that the compromise might have compromised other websites.
It's interesting to see it as a metaphor for the transmission of a deadly virus.

I didn't click on it but someone did try to hack my fb account, my account was immediately blocked so had to reset my password. Could just have been someone with a similar email address, just seems a bit coincidental.
