I know that we have a generic booze thread already but I feel that a more specific beer one is required. Stewart Brewing's Radical Road, a triple hopped pale ale.

It is not quite as radical as I was expecting

Maybe we can try and consolidate the booze threads as they seem to infiltrate all the others?

According to the label, imagine a coffee lemonade and you are nearly there.

Another from UnBarred. Red-eye sour, a coffee infused sour beer.

In contrast to the lemongrass and ginger saison, this is such a disappointment. It is thin, insufficiently sour and lacking enough coffee for it to be a feature worthy of the name.

May I suggest tipping 95% of it away, adding some cranberry juice, brown sugar, mint, crushed ice, waiting 15 minutes whilst some pretentious muppet dances around it, then pay £15 fir the privelidge?

I just tipped nearly half of it away but I didn't do any of the rest of your suggestions.

Doesn't anyone do any straight beer anymore? I was at a beer festival a couple of weeks ago and a good three quarters were flavoured with things that should never go near a pint glass. Who decided bitter had to be poncy?

I’ve been drinking Cobra at the local curry house.....I know - it’s not big and not clever but it’s all they had.

Straight Beer for Straight People? Wasn't that one of Owen Smith's policies?
