Gypsy Hill are, in my experience thus far, a good example of the pushing boundaries thing. I haven't had anything from them that was half hearted. People like us, for instance, is absolutely stuffed with berries.

UnBarred soft touch, a soft gently bitter New England IPA.
Soft gently bitter my arse. It is on a par with Sierra Nevada Torpedo, which is good as I like that.
