Panic over. You are now free to worry about important things.

I have been an absent landlord on here, to the extent of not paying for domain renewel. I just tried to do it now, and I can't. It's very possible cyclingrelated.uk will not work tomorrow, and in the worst case, I may lose the domain permanently.
You will still able to access the site using http://cpanel86.gzo.com/~cyclingrelated/ but that won't be fully functional until I make some changes which I will do tomorrow if it's needed. Please bookmark it now.
I will email everyone (if the site goes down) once I know what the future will be.
Sorry for being so lax, and it's all sorted out tomorrow.

We are saved!! They took my money.
Sorry for the panicked announcement. I was really worried that you guys would be met with a DNS error today, and by then it would be too late to tell you about it.

TRR may just about recall that she had a part (albeit a rather peripheral one) in our elder daughter's decision to read English at university. (I cited TRR to her as a role model for reading English. Though, come to think of it, if TRR featured as part of Dad's advice to Daughter, perhaps it would be more realistic to say she read English despite TRR? ) Given that, it may slightly warm the cockles of TRR's heart to learn that said daughter, now a teacher, has become very active in her local Tenants' Union, and spent some of her weekend creating a banner for a forthcoming demo:

One of my favourite songs.
I see Joan is still paying rent. I've paid rent all my adult life: never been a homeowner – and never shall be. Fortunately I've been lucky enough to live in some amazing places, the tradeoff being a very uncertain future in my decrepitude. With any luck I won't live that long, eh?
Am still addicted to forums, to the extent I maintain a Lurk board back home, though I don't anticipate much beyond my current Godwin duties.
This summer I added a 3rd (and final, promise) banning to my CCCV.
Same time next year?

Time flies! [Check calendar] Oh, it's only been 4 days. I lose track in my bunker.
I appear to be alone here, which is a scenario I'm familiar with.
First order of business is deciding whether to start a new thread documenting whatever is passing through my mind at the moment – within reason – or stick with this one.
Advantage of this one: I like the title.
Disadvantage: Everything else
Let's table that, in the US sense. After many years on UK forums I'm aware that creeping Americanization is not to be desired. No worries, this probably won't catch on.
This feels like an unnatural end to this post, but these things happen.

Welcome to astronomical autumn, or as we like to call it across the microplastic laden pond, fall. Because of the leaves. I probably didn't have to explain that.
Though I left the States a long time ago, and may never be going back even to visit, it'll always be home. Well, my second home. My third is across the road.
I see your domain is expiring the middle of next month. Oh no.

I accidentally let prettygoodbritain.com lapse the other day because I'd stopped checking the old email address of record (having moved completely to gmail) and missed the invoice. Fortunately I caught it before all was lost.
I own 4 domains, which is probably 3 too many.
