TRR may just about recall that she had a part (albeit a rather peripheral one) in our elder daughter's decision to read English at university. (I cited TRR to her as a role model for reading English. Though, come to think of it, if TRR featured as part of Dad's advice to Daughter, perhaps it would be more realistic to say she read English despite TRR?
) Given that, it may slightly warm the cockles of TRR's heart to learn that said daughter, now a teacher, has become very active in her local Tenants' Union, and spent some of her weekend creating a banner for a forthcoming demo:
