There's something screwy going on here. The software insisted I wanted to mention @regulator extremely regularly.

You can fix the problem when you notice it, by going in and re-editing the post. The mentions should be of the form "[ mention ]regulator[ /mention ]" (without the spaces). I was able to edit your post and quickly fix the problem.

We'll have to see how much of a bugbear this is, and decide if we keep the extension or find an alternative or more likely - do without.
