This made me laugh.....
Re: This made me laugh.....
LeVar Burton is making a guest appearance on the podcast I am currently listening to. He says that you should name a cat Kunta Kitty.
I need to get a cat.

This is new to me.
You know when a small kid lies, and it is so obvious a lie that you just play with them to see how far they will keep digging the hole.

Another podcast story....
I am listening to a podcast about Elizabeth Blackwell, who was the first woman to get an MD in the US, and the first woman to be registered with the GMC.
They had just finished the story of her getting an eye infection that after leeches did not work, they removed the eye and replaced it with a glass eye. Immediately afterwards we are told of her moving to the UK and meeting Florence Nightingale and telling us that they "didn't always see eye to eye".
(OK, that was funnier in my head, but I've typed it now, so you have to suffer too.)

I love that.
Without being an arse, when it first loaded on my phone, the picture loaded with the last line obscured. I laughed like a drain**, because the punchline was obvious.
**that's a good thing, right?

Tonight we have been to the laughterloft at the pub as we always do. A very strong line up which included a half Chinese comic who cleverly lulled us all into being very racist, and the headliner Andrew Lawrence who was pure class.

A consumer complaint piece in the Guardian today about a wardrobe bought from M&S that has an unpleasant odour. Some hapless sub has written a cracking strapline: "We have a pregnant daughter-in-law staying with us and we can't stand the smell".

Not a belly laugh, but I often walk past jewellers, and am amazed at how beautiful the celebrities are, even Dicaprio, who bizarrely never puts it on his wrist. It some how makes this intricate hunk of metal with £3000 or whatever.
Then I saw this ad.
A constipated Gerard Butler staring angrily at the camera. How did they make such a terrible ad? (google google) ah, £100 watches get b-grade celebs and f-grade stylists.
