I am going to see David Byrne tonight. ;D 8)
Excellent. Last time I saw him was WOMAD ... which google suggests was in 2004!?

Enjoy. He is (or was) a devoted cyclist, so he's one of us.

He was amazing, the show was amazing, I'm so glad I managed to get a ticket. He is such an interesting person, and as you say he happens to ride a bike as well. 8)

Quake at its majesty

(they don't close Richmond Lock for a month. It shows how tidal the river is, so far from the estuary)

Of course, when you uncover the river bed, you uncover other things too.

Firstly, Father Ted
Secondly, who has form for this sort of thing?

So, as a result of a minor plumbing malfunction I have been sorting out the jumbled contents of The Cupboard Under The Sink. Who on earth thought I needed (among other things) three cans of oven cleaner, two versions of carpet stain remover, two unopened bottles of kettle descaler, two packs of washing-machine cleaner, and three part-used packs of j-cloths? People might think I am some kind of housework freak, but those who know me irl would say otherwise. I think someone has been sneaking things into my kitchen while I am asleep.

Handed in the first 1000 words of my first essay for feedback. I’m heading in the right direction and I have a very nice writing style apparently! So I I have more confidence that I can do this.

I haven’t run a plagiarism report yet so maybe I should have done that before I bragged about my writing style.

Great!! Well done.....I'm currently in my final year of 6 doing an OU degree. It does get easier. It's good that your tutors give you positive feedback. It really helps with the slog.
