Fraid not - I find I am disappointingly indifferent to this kind of thing. I did walk up onto the Downs to see the daytime total eclipse, whenever that was, sometime around the Millennium, but afterwards I wondered why I'd bothered. Philistine, sorry.

I love this kind of thing but 5am is a tad too early, 6.30 is bad enough

I have to get up around that time most mornings, nature calls. So I'll have a peep out the window and then back to bed.

The partial eclipse (which is followed by the prenumbral eclipse) finishes at 6:50am, so worth pressing your nose against a window when you get up.Lullabelle wrote: ↑5 years agoI love this kind of thing but 5am is a tad too early, 6.30 is bad enough
I mostly followed the moon home tonight. She seemed blissfully unaware she will be swallowed by a dragon in a few hours.
I'm not sure I will get up at 5am either. I'm trying not to overheat the house, so I may need to go to bed fully dressed to have any hope of escaping the duvet.

Looked fab down here! Especially watching the shadow roll across.
Very clear skies, but lots of local light polution.

The moon looked lovely this morning but it was far too cold to hang around and stare.
