Ditto. One snapped chain only. On the way after dark to a youth hostel in the Lake District - Ambleside? Bowness? Can’t remember but it was up a steep hill. I pushed the last mile and recall lifting the front wheel off the ground to spin the wheel to generate light from the dynamo to read the road sign. (It was thirty years ago). Repaired it the next day and carried on.

I am loving how we can say whatever shit we want on this site.

I mean, eventually one of yous (sic) is going to call me a cunt, and then I will bring down the wrath of Jesus-fucking-christ upon you. But up until then, 👍

Edit: This doesn't seem as funny as when I first posted it, but I can't back down without looking like a hypocrite.

If anyone doesn't have google:

Today is/was St David's day.

(I knew this date and many other "interesting" facts like how many people are in the NI assembly for about 48 hours when I sat for my citizenship Life in the UK test.)

It was also the day after the Dia de Andaluz. And my brother's birthday.

And for once I'd remembered a card.

Today was was supposed to be rainy, it is actually lovely and sunny so a short walk maybe required to stock up on essentials.
