3 fresh eggs for dinner - what should I make?
I'm on my lonesome tonight, and a neighbour has given me a day's crop from an allotment henhouse: 14 hens, but luckily only 3 eggs. Off to the supermarket, as I had a late lunch I will have a late dinner. I am thinking of making gado-gado on a bed of raw spinach with poached eggs. Any other suggestions?

Three boiled eggs and loads of soldiers would be my suggestion.

14 hens will give you more than enough to eat without worrying about the eggs - although if they've had a good life you may want to stew rather than grill.

Omelette. For reasons to do with the randomness of neuronal connections and the limitedness of my life experiences, I associate a three-egg cheese omelette, still slightly runny, with arriving at the Lauteret en route for Galibier. So I make myself one whenever I need mentally transporting away from Surrey....

On a similar ride, I found that I needed just the one egg...

Is this the new way of calibrating rides? 'Was it a one-egg or a two-egg route?'

Sounds about right. I reckon the ratio of your fitness to mine is probably about 3:1, making the respective appropriate omelette needs about 1:3.....

It was because un oeuf is enough.
